When the Egyptian women have a chance
She has been selected in the list of the most 100 influential women in the Canadian British Columbia. She was the dean of the Faculty of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia in 2010, which is the third best Canadian university.
 
She was also selected in the list of the most 100 influential women in the Canadian capital Ottawa when she was dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Ottawa from 1998 to 2004. She was the first Egyptian woman to hold this position and is considered the first Egyptian and Arab woman that held Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences for two major Canadian universities twice.
 
Her name is Dr. Tayseer Abu-Nasr, Egyptian Canadian prestigious scientist and professor of electrical engineering. She decided to return to Egypt and worked with the Academy of Scientific Research and the Nile University.
 
I wish all Egyptians have such spirit and support their country with money, hope and science. Yet, Egypt has to welcome them and cause them not to regret.
