President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri on Sunday on the sidelines of the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the commencement of the Egyptian parliamentary life currently held in Sharm al Sheikh, Youm7 reported.
The two sides discussed latest security developments in Iraq and the Iraqi government’s preparations to liberate the city of Mosul, said presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef.
During the meeting, Sisi asserted Egypt’s full support for the unity and sovereignty of Iraq stressing Egypt’s keenness to eliminate terrorism and restore stability, he added.
