Egypt will open the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip, allowing for a two-way flow of people and goods on Saturday Oct.15 and Sunday Oct.16, Youm7 reported Thursday.
The crossing will reopen again also in both directions as of Oct. 19 for a period of four days to allow the passage of stranded people and humanitarian cases.
Rafah is the only major border crossing into Gaza Strip that does not go through Israel, which also blockades the territory.
It was closed after Islamist militants in Sinai killed 33 security personnel in October 2013.
