A delegation of members of the US Congress have visited Egypt for 3 days and met with a number of Egyptian officials and inspected a number of projects supported by United States Agency for international development.
The delegation met with Sameh Shokry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and General Sdiqi Sobhi, Minister of Defense in the visit that lasted from 16 to 18 October.
They also visited representatives of Syrian Refugees in Egypt. It is worth mentioning that the United States government has provided through USAID $ 37 million to the World Food Program to support Syrian refugees in Egypt.
