Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anany headed to China Wednesday to participate in the UNESCO High Level Forum on Museums, currently held in Shenzhen, China.
Many directors of the world’s museums will meet in the forum to discuss new museum sector trends and public policies, the protection of cultural property and collections, the ethical and technological standards for museums, and how better to engage and benefit communities, the antiquities ministry said in a statement Wednesday.
The forum will run till Nov. 12 in Zhi Zeng Art Museum in Shenzhen.
