St. Maurice Association in Switzerland invited the Coptic Orthodox church to attend prayers for peace in Egypt on November 12th.
Abba Demian, Bishop of Germany, represented the Coptic church assuring that Copts are currently suffering from the extremist groups and not the government.
Father Tomas, member of the Coptic delegation, said that St. Maurice, the Theban Legion, and St. Verena introduced Christianity to Switzerland and were martyred there.
