Amid tight security measures the festival of St. George in Rozaikat, Luxor, was held.
Mohammed Badr, governor of Luxor, congratulated the Copts on the annual festival and said that police are doing their best to secure the celebration.
The governor has received the delegation of the Pontifical Committee to supervise the monastery of St. George in Rozaikat headed by Abba Morcos, Bishop of Shubra Al Khaimah, and Abba Beeman, Bishop of Nakada, and Abba Yousab, General Bishop of Luxor, and monk Thomas Ruzaiqi.
