Egypt’s First Lady Entisar Amer on Sunday launched a donation campaign for Long Live Egypt (Tahya Masr) Fund, Youm7 reported.
Video footages published in several media outlets Sunday showed Amer along with female ministers and spouses of ministers heading to headquarters of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE)to donate to the fund, which was founded by President Abdel Fatah al Sisi in 2014.
The fund aims to help the funding of social projects including mobile clinics, long-term hepatitis C medication schemes, and development the country’s slums.
The fund has collected EGP 7.5 billion EGP so far, the fund’s executive manager, Mohamed Ashmawy was quoted by Al Ahram in October.
