French companies’ investments in Egypt have reached $4 billion, said French Ambassador in Cairo Andre Parant during a Wednesday press conference.
The ambassador said that around 130 French companies are investing in Cairo in different economic sectors.
Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Parant signed Wednesday a loan agreement worth 50 million Euros to develop electricity system in Egypt.
The loan will be allocated to fund a project aiming to develop controlling system of power grid.
