Minister of Defence Sedqi Sobhi attended on Thursday a major live-ammunition naval war games on the country's western borders, Ahram Rabic news website reported.
The naval exercises included tactical projects and engagement with hostile navy vessels.
The naval forces also carried out land and sea security and counter terrorism operations in cooperation with various branches of the Armed Forces.
Sobhi also inspected military units and formations at the Western Military District.
