A Salafi preacher called Sameh Abdul Hamid, issued fatwa that ban Muslims from celebrating Christmas or congratulate Christians on that occasion.
He added that Muslims shouldn’t participate in celebrating Christmas by all means since that is considered a great evil, and they shouldn’t congratulate Christians on any religious occasion.
