Dr. Ahmed Darwish, head of Development Zone Authority of Suez Canal area, said that negotiations have been held with the Japanese company Toyota to pump investments in the economic are of Suez Canal.
He added that a special port dedicated for cars will be created in East Port Said with the cooperation of many French and Japanese companies. The area will be divided into car factories, storage areas, spare parts and exhibitions.
It’s worth mentioning that several international companies aspire to invest in this area that will have density of well trained employment. This should make our dream to be competitors in the auto industry come true. The authority has benefited from the expertise of Dr. Ahmad Fikri Abdul Wahab who was appointed a member of board of directors.
