Sources in police revealed that the masked person who has broke into the backyard of the church of St. Mary in new Damietta at 3 am and wrote on the ground “Christians, you are going to die” was arrested. The surveillance cameras led to the perpetrator.
This comes after a suicide bomber killed at least 27 people and injured 49 others at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church (commonly known as El-Botroseya Church, a chapel next to Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, seat of the Coptic Orthodox Pope, in Cairo's Abbasia district.
