Egyptian Fatwa House said that it is permissible for Christians in Egypt to build churches under an Islamic state according to the laws and regulation in that account.
It added that Islam supported the civil state based on equal citizenship since the days of prophet Mohamed whom also supported the principle of reciprocity between states.
