CAIRO--Activists from around 17 political parties and groups have said Saturday they will stage protests in different parts of the country on January 25, which marks the police Day.
The protest will be staged under the theme "Justice, Freedom and Citizenship". In a joint statement made by the groups including the protests groups Kefaya and April 6 Youth, the activists urged all Egyptians "to revolt against poverty, high prices and corruption".
