Activists in Egypt were surprised to hear that case of stripping the old woman off was closed for lack of evidence.

Soaad Thabet, the lady of Karm village, denounced the decision saying that she suffered with her family for months after she was stripped off and sexually harassed with her daughter in law by the mobs.
The incidents erupted after rumors about a romantic relationship between a Muslim woman and son of the Christen old woman.
