Activists in Egypt were surprised to hear that case of stripping the old woman off was closed for lack of evidence, but they didn’t realize that the decision was issued last November.
This came after the witnesses changed their testimonies and threatening the Copts in Karm village, and prosecution closed the case for lack of evidence.
Soaad Thabet, the lady of Karm village, denounced the decision saying that she suffered with her family for months after she was stripped off and sexually harassed with her daughter in law by the mobs.
