With the state of political partisanship and intellectual dependency on the Egyptian arena, many people despise the revolution of January 25 and accuse it of causing many destruction and losses. However, this was not the case in the first days of the revolution when everybody was happy in the streets hoping for better future for Egypt. The regime was retard back then to understand the new state since it was only thinking about making deals with the terrorist organization. At that time, the Muslim Brotherhood was allowed to have 88 chairs in the Parliament in order to support sectarian strife in the Egyptian society.
Egypt's youth came out rejecting such chaos and mixing between politics and religion. They refused guardianship of the Church and Al-Azhar in the political matter and demonstrated against their recommendation. Those youth raised national slogans and sang the old songs of Egyptian rebels in 1919 and 1952. Furthermore, they wrote new songs and drew graffiti to express their revolution, but this graffiti is being erased by the government hoping to erase all memories related to it.
“Together, the revolution is better” is a song written and chanted by martyr Mina Daneil and his friend Mohamed Masry in Tahrir Square during the revolution of January 25. They were so happy preaching a new era of full citizenship in Egypt where democracy is welcomed, yet bureaucracy and corruption have no place.
Mina Daniel and Sheikh Emad Effat have sacrificed their lives along with hundreds of Egyptians in order to liberate the homeland.
Mina, known as Guevara of Egyptian revolution, was killed after extremists have used the revolution to achieve personal benefits. Those extremists were supported by counties and organizations that decided to destroy all powers in the region in favor of Israel.
The rebels of January 25 have been killed while they were dreaming to establish a civil state in Egypt and cancel religious based political parties. They dreamed of a safe country for all Egyptians to live and worship fearing nothing. They were dreaming of a country where efficiency counts and no discrimination based on religion. We need to establish a "Commission against discrimination" as soon as possible. The revolution was not a conspiracy against Egypt, but the revolutionists had a dream for their country. Let’s sing “Together, the revolution is better” and pay a tribute to the martyrs of the nation throughout history.
