Major General Khalid Saeed, Governor of Al-Sharqiyah, announced a new initiative called "Draw Your Future" in cooperation with the Central Administration of Projects and Youth Training at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Microsoft. He said that the aim of the initiative is to create jobs for young people, spread the culture of entrepreneurship and community leadership, and motivate young people to develop and establish their own projects that serve the development of society.
He stressed the importance of developing the skills of young people in many fields, including computer and information technology and feasibility study, to establish small projects to provide and create new job opportunities for youth and benefit from their potentials.
Wael Al-Alfi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, said that the courses are free and available to young people between the ages of 16 and 35.
They start from 6 February until the end of April 2017. All those who complete the course are awarded a certificate from Microsoft and the Youth and Sports Directorate.
