The Coptic Evangelical Church issued a statement concerning announcement of a Coptic priest in Mit Ghamr in which he described the Evangelical church that it has a different Christ than the Coptic Orthodox Church worship.
Rev. Reda Adly, head of the Nile Synod, said that love between churches only remains with mutual respect without insulting the others.
A complaint was presented to Pope Tawadros this week and published on social media networks and considered that such statements work against the unity of the churches sought by Poep Tawadros and other Christian sects in Egypt.
A video of a priest was published on social media in which he had called to prevent Coptic Orthodox congregation from entering churches of other Christian sects after the evangelical church in his city presented expensive gifts to children of his church in order to invite them to attend the Evangelical church.
