Egyptian Children and Our Parliament?

Lately, many accidents involving poison has been happening to Egyptian children after eating their school meal. However, the Egyptian Parliament has been dealing with this accident as if nothing happened. It appears the children are not important enough to question the Minister of Education, or at least investigate the incident.

As an avid follower for all Parliament-related news, I believe this is incredibly horrible, and something that will stain Egyptian’s history as a terrible occurrence, and shame.

This Parliament is composed of security personnel hand-picked, not by Egyptian votes. And of course, as we have become accustomed to, anything security related not surprisingly fails because it’s impossible to place all control of country-led institutions in the hands of security.

President Sisi is also responsible for what is happening, because he doesn’t actually care about what the real issues are in Parliament, or who is responsible for what, he only cares about his reputation.

Sisi wants a Parliament that can listen to anything he wants to do and support him in all cases, like a puppet.

The Egyptian Parliament failed to meet all the Egyptian expectations and it would be an understatement to use the word “disappointed”
