Police announced that the suspected bag that was found near St. Mary Church in Ayyad Bei in Shobra and thought to be a bomb was actually a bag full of paper and wood.
Police secured the area and reassured the congregation that there is nothing to worry about.
This came few days after a deadly terrorist attack at two Coptic churches on Palm Sunday.
