Police in Minya province arrested several people on charges of inciting against the Copts in Kom El Loufi.
A number of extremists stoned houses of the Copts in the village and cursed the Copts in their demonstrations demanding to prevent them from celebrating the holy mass of the feast.
Several houses of the Copts were set on fire and the Copts were prevented from attending the prayers fearing they will be attacked by extremists.
