Dr. Khaled Montasser, Egyptian liberal writer, denounced statement of the senior scientists under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Tayeb, and considered it the last nail of the coffin of a civil state in Egypt.
He added that Al-Azhar considered his enemies, enemies of Islam and any criticism of Al-Azhar is a criticism of Islam!
