During the visit of an Italian delegation to the city of Sharm el-Sheikh to provide digital solutions for the development of the city, and to inspect the security of the airport, Governor of South Sinai Khalid Fouda stressed the importance of restoring Italian tourism to Sharm El-Sheikh to be the majority of tourists in the city of peace.
The governor also called the Italian delegation to transfer the positive image about Egypt and to be ambassadors of peace to the city of peace.
He added that a major sports event will be held in Sharm El Sheikh on April 25, on the occasion of the Sinai Liberation Day, in conjunction with the Italian Liberation Day. Moreover, they agreed to make Sharm El Sheikh and other Italian city twin towns and to name Sharm El Sheikh the first city of the digital economy in the Middle East. I salute this smart governor who knows how to take up the opportunity to benefit his country.
