Coptic Orthodox and Catholic churches participated in "Qena against Terrorism" Conference held in Qena under the patronage of Major General Abdel Hamid El-Hagan, Governor of Qena, Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of South Valley University, and in the presence of Dr. Abbas Shoman, Deputy of Al-Azhar Sheikh.
Father Amounios Fares, Undersecretary of the Qena Bishopric, said that Pope Tawadros assures that homeland without churches are better than churches without a homeland. He added that terrorist attacks only increase our faith in God and cling to the homeland.
