During in his visit to the Italian city of Genoa, Pope Francis held prayers for the Coptic martyrs of Minya.
He said we should pray for the Coptic Christians who were killed since they refused to abandon their faith. There are currently more martyrs than the old ages.
It is noteworthy that an armed group targeted a bus packed with Copts heading to the monastery of St. Samuel the confessor, killing 29 and 24 were injured.
