The Egyptian Council of Churches congratulated the Egyptians on Eid al-Fitr in an official statement published by Rev Refaat Fathy, Secretary General of the Council of Churches of Egypt.
On the other hand, Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qena, have received Bishop Kyrillos, Bishop of Nagaa Hammadi, and Anba Baiman, Bishop of Qus and Naqada, to congratulate him on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
