At the celebration of the forty days anniversary of the martyrs of St. Samuel monastery terrorist attack, women were expected to put on black garments to express their grief according to the middle eastern traditions. However, families of the martyrs decided to put on white garments instead of the black in order to express their happiness for the martyrs who departed to stay with Christ.
The holy mass was celebrated in the presence of Abba Athnasoisu, Bishop of Beni Mazar and Abba Bacilious head of St. Samuel monastery.
