Governor of Minya Essam Bedaiwy held a meeting with representatives of the Copts who demonstrated demanding building their church in Koum Loufy. During the meeting, he pledged to solve the crisis of the church that was shut down 5 years ago.
The fanatics have proposed their solution to build a church outside the village in order to allow the Copts to pray in peace.
