Lately, I have read many news about Invitations to amend the constitution and especially amending the period of the president in the constitution to be six years each period instead of four and to allow him to candidate himself three times instead of two.
As always and because of the current situation which is the media that support the president dominates the scene, No one can object that danger step from happening. When I say danger step I m not proclaiming that because of the 2 years more that will be in each period but because I m sure that this amendment will be just the beginning of many amendments in the future.
For any not democratic regime, this is the first step to turn to be dictatorship. The first step to be put his first leg on the power and the second step is how to keep it longer and never leave it and all of that could happen in the name of the nation and name of Egyptian.
This step also to amend the constitution shows with no doubts that there is no political life in Egypt and that the political life died from the first moment that Sisi came to the power.
In conclusion, I want to assure that we are going toward long time dictatorship in the name of the Egyptian people, having said that, there is very low possibility that Sisi will surprise us and announce that he will not candidate himself for a second period!
