Pope Tawadors II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, mourned the Egyptian politician Mohammed Refaat El-Saeed, former chairperson of the National Progressive Unionist Party (Tagammu), who has passed away on Thursday at the age of 84 at his home in Cairo.
Coptic church said in a statement that El-Saeed has played a prominent role in the political life in Egypt and has always supported equality and unity of the homeland.
