Coptic young man Tony Samir was released by his kidnappers after his family paid a ransom of 800 thousand Egyptian pounds.
Police said they have not interfered while the exchange process in order to save the life of the young man.
Sources added that one of the kidnappers was identified by police and the matter is currently under investigation.
