Peace and building of the Church of the One God, the Holy Apostolic one, is granted by Jesus Christ. Its history tells the story of God s work and grants its bright future.
The Church owner has promised he will not leave us orphans as the holy spirit will take care of it through its servants. Our Coptic Orthodox Church has many great saints including our fathers the saints Mark, Antony, Makarios, Arsanios, Didymus the blind, Demetrios, Athanasius, Cyril pillar of religion, Cyril IV father of reform, Pope Cyril VI and Pope Shenouda III. Our history is full of them and the holy spirit is working in his church to the end of days.
The glory of our Church is not merely a past but a presence since the holy spirit works in all generations to bring the chosen ones by God to witness and complete his mission. Recently we witnessed many great fathers like Abba Samuel, Abba Grigorious, Abba Youanis, Abba Athanasius, Abba Beman, Abba Maximus, Father Markos Dawod, Father Michael Abraham, Father Bishoy Kamel, Father Manassa Youhana, Archdeacon Habib Girgis, Youssef Habib, Dr Wahib Georgy...etc.
Our Church is our hope, salvation and refuge. It gives us treatment like a hospital. It is our mother and paradise that is planted in the side of Christ. Therefore, we look at him at all times and trust in him to be saved.
God is the one who sends a successor to his apostles to represent his presence among his people; in order to take care of the divine parish of God (the chosen and holy divine race) who are the servants of God and his honorable and faithful people. Therefore, the good shepherd sends good shepherds for his herd to keep and save them supported by the spirit of God.
The Church will remain built on the basis of the apostles and the prophets; and Jesus Christ himself is the stone of its corner. It is rich in devout and simple people who are really wise seeking to please God. May the church of God be blessed now and forever as our blessed mother. We may remain faithful undivided in the church of God as prances in God s vine knowing that Jesus Christ is taking care of it.
