 I give him

St. Peter in (Acts 3: 6) told a lame man who was born like this: I dont have money, but I give you what I have : stand up and walk. This happened after the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples. In a short period of time, the man was expecting some food or material, but this response was conclusive and practical. St. Peter gave him what was greater than the material gifts, which is healing.

The lame man entered into the temple and was seen by everybody making them wonder what happened! the people asked St. Peter how did they heal him? Its the power of Jesus Christ, he answered.

I remember here when Jesus was among the disciples, and one of the crowd came to him asking for healing his son and assuring that the disciples failed to cast him out. Jesus asked: do you believe? the man asked Jesus to support his lack of faith! Immediately the Lord Jesus ordered the unclean spirit to come out of the boy and not to enter him again. When the disciples asked why couldnt them cast him out, Jesus answered that this can only happen through fasting and prayers. Yet, the same disciples were able to heal the sick, raise from dead and do wonders after believing in the work of the Holy Spirit and through giving glory to Christ and through prayer and fasting.

In fact, all Christians have received the Holy Spirit by baptism, but He doesnt work with us the same way, Why? Because we neglected fasting and prayers and started thinking: who is the greatest among us? We should think instead what do we have to give to those whom we minister! Do we have something other than hatred, ego, lies, partying, or do we have love, peace and other fruits of the Holy Spirit to offer them?

Let us enter into our chambers, searching in our selves and revealing them before God, and asking for a straight spirit that we may have something to offer other people and rejoice together by the salvation of our Lord.
