Last week, there is no one in the Egyptian media didn’t talk about Homosexuality, not just the media but also the leaders like Pope Tawdraus, Al-Azhar and many leaders and Journalists. All of them tried to defend the society and the community from that danger we face and called “Homosexuality”.
In fact, I’m not here to defend “Homosexuality, however, I’m totally against this campaign against them which actually might lead to more violence because I believe that the best solution to heal and cure any problem in the society is trying to absorb it not to attack it.
All the media and Journalists started to attack and defend by saying that “God forbid Homosexuality”, and Homosexuality comes from the western society to destroy our community and our culture.
Unfortunately, we all started to be judges and accuse the Homosexual people that they are corrupted and everyone started to throw his first stone including the religious leaders against them.
Before going further, I want to declare that I don’t agree in the action of the “Homosexuality”, but at the same time I don’t judge them and I don’t believe that they destroy our community.
I want to ask the Egyptian society to be frank, and also answer this question: what is more danger in the society, “Corruption, poverty, people in the prison without fair judgement, slums everywhere, lack of jobs, hike of the prices, lack of democracy or “Homosexuality”
I have a message to the religious leader, what is more danger on your believe, the people they believe in something you don’t believe in and not worship what you believe in or someone believe Homosexual. Please don’t be hypocrite.
