The Egyptian government began to launch the largest national campaign to encourage newly married couples to regulate birth, and have only two children, to cope with excessive population growth.
The Ministry of Health decided to promote contraceptives for men for the first time.
Dr. Souad Abdel Meguid, head of the population and family planning sector at the Ministry of Health, said that the program provides contraceptives for men and women for the first time at reproductive health centers.
