Abba Ghobrial, bishop of Beni Suef, announced that Egyptians working abroad will still have to take obligatory pre-marriage courses, but they can take the course material and then take the exam when they return home.
He added that the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church decided that such courses are mandatory before getting married in the church.
