The monastery of St. Mary in Jabal al-Tair is being developed by the Egyptian government as part of the path of the Holy Family to Egypt which was recognized as pilgrimage place.
The governor of Minya visited the place and held meeting with the ministry of antiquities in order to discuss a plat to develop the area of the monastery.
