Dr. Ahmed Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, headed a delegation to visit the Great Cathedral of St. Mark to congratulate Pope Tawadros II on Christmas.
The delegation included leaders of Al-Azhar, and Minister of Awqaf, as well as Dr. Mohamed Hamdi Zaqzouq, member of the Council of Senior Muslim Scholars and Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House.
