Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, talked to monks from various monasteries over monastic thought in the Nativity account. He explained that monks commit to the vows of poverty, obedience, and chastity; those three appeared in the Nativity account.
He added that St. Mary and the shepherds showed faith and belief which flourishes one’s life and protects the believers by the powerful hand of God almighty.
