Egypt s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday where he discussed with Dubai Emir Mohamed Al Maktom and Abu Dhabi Emir Mohamed Al Nahyan ways to boot cooperation between the two countries in different fields, the presidency said in a statement.
The officials also discussed regional issues, including fighting terrorism through a comprehensive strategy that stops terrorist organisations from receiving arms, money and fighters, as well as stopping their political cover and media representation.
El-Sisi arrived in the UAE after concluding his first official visit to Oman, where he discussed bilateral relations with Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
Economic relations between Egypt and the UAE have been developing greatly since the 2013 ouster of Egypt s Islamist President Mohamed Morsi.
The UAE has been one of the top supporters of Egypt since the 2013 revolution, providing aid to help revive the Egyptian economy.
