The most important event these days is the Egyptian presidential election which began abroad Friday, Saturday and Sunday 16, 17, 18 March 2018. I was one of the participants in the presidential elections as I casted my vote at the Egyptian Embassy in London. This was on Saturday 17 March, the anniversary of the departure of pope Shenouda III eho said that Egypt is not a country we live in, but a country that lives in our hearts.

Egyptians participated in this festive atmosphere with national songs, which made everyone feel proud to be an Egyptian citizensl and that he or she belongs to this ancient great nation.
However, we were surprised to find few Egyptians trying to spoil this joy by provoking voters and insulting the crowds that were present in front of the embassy!
They had insulting banners and songs to the Egyptian President and army, which made the English police intervene to prevent clashes with the voters. I tried to talk with one of them saying it is not appropriate to talk like that about the Egyptian President and army. Yet, he was far from being convinced.
