The Egyptian response to the Sudanese accusations and claims that Halaib and Shalatin belong to the Sudan came very powerful and different. This time, the respond was away from army or diplomacy as it came through investment.
The natural plants in this area are unique and there is a good opportunity to use it for export. Halaib and Shalatin have several medical and aromatic plants that can be exported and help the Egyptian economy.
