After the end of the Presidential Election in Egypt, there is one title we can describe this election with, “Lack of transparency.” One thing everyone notices in this election is how all media attempted to show numbers that support its opinion toward the regime and especially toward President Al Sisi, while not supporting the truth.
There is one side, the Muslim Brotherhood who are well known to be against Sisi and his regime. They try to show that the votes were very weak and that only a few Egyptians went to vote in this election.
On the other side, there are the supporters of Sisi from the media, who try to show that millions of people went out to vote in this election to save the country from the international conspiracy that Sisi could convince them with.
In fact, there is also one more disaster that we have witnessed in this election, which is the complete absence of human rights organizations.
In conclusion, we have to admit that Egypt, once more, has failed democracy and we cannot predict when the time for success will come.
