International Maestro Bishoy Awad said that Coptic music dates back to the Pharaonc era and is considered a spiritual extension of it. This came during a lecture about Coptic music in St. Mark Cathedral in Alexandria.
He added that the Greek philosopher Plato in the fifth century BC has testified that Egyptian Pharaonic music is the most complete form of music.
