In a great movement towards improving the relations with Africa, Egypt s Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri opened one of the two Egyptian dialysis centers in Burundi this week. The center is funded by the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of External Relations and International Cooperation of Burundi and a number of senior officials of the State.
Shukri announced the establishment of a center for infant Incubation in the central hospital in Ngozi in addition to the Egyptian hospital in Bururi, which was established in 2008.
The visit included the opening of an electronic library at the embassy In order to contribute to the transfer of knowledge and culture in various fields to the Burundians. It is worth mentioning that the Coptic Church runs four convoys each year to Burundi.
