They are two football teams called the tiger and the white horse. The players are former cancer patients whom have overcome the deadly disease.
The new strategy adopted by Egyptian Cancer Foundation headed by Dr. Mohammed Shaalan seeks to use football to combat cancer and to encourage women to play sports.
The event coincided with the World Cup and many Egyptian girls have joined the initiative to fight cancer with the help of sports.
I salute the Foundation and those who came up with the idea to use football to fight cancer.
