Ministry of Awqaf opened 73 new schools to correct misconceptions about Islamic religion and to renew the religious discourse.
13 new churches were recently opened to join other scientific schools all over Egypt. Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Minister of Awqaf, stressed the need to adhere to the middle curriculum of Islam which is adopted by Al-Azhar.
