The family is the main influencer in the personality as it is responsible for spiritual, mental and emotional education of the young people.
HG Bishop Moussa, Bishop of Youth, talked in his article Family and the formation of personality about the impact of the family in its members in several aspects. First: the family, especially the mother, has great impact on her children who learn the meaning of prayers and saints by the parents unlike those who teach the children about cursing, anger and oblivion.
St. Timothy inherited the faith from his grandmother and mother. Second, the family provides its children with all kinds of food, including the emotional food through the tenderness of the mother, and the spiritual food which is the faith and spiritual practices in the church.
Through their families, children grow in self-confidence and to trust other people. This develops social abilities. On the contrary, the family, which shows no tenderness, creates a nervous personality that is angry with the society and feels undesirable.
The family has to teach its children about prayers in what we call the family alter where its members stand in fear before God to pray and to read in the bible. They can attend the holy mass once a month. This leads to peace, love and unity in the family.
